At Burnie Veterinary Centre, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional, and compassionate veterinary service. We recognise the significance of pets and the place they hold in our families. Our Veterinarians are highly skilled, and we treat all types of pets and supply appropriate medicines to help sick pets get back to full health sooner.
We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager to commit to leading our team in a Full-Time capacity.
The right candidate will have a commitment and passion for high level patient and client care and the desire to provide exemplary customer service. The perfect candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication skills, essential to lead and support our established team.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years’ Vet Nurse experience.
- Experience in small business management or supervision, particularly within a healthcare/similar industry is highly regarded.
- An ability to lead and manage a dynamic and high achieving team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated client relationship building skills
- A hard working and a hands-on approach to your work
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
- Effective time management and organisation skills.
- Sound business knowledge and financial understanding with the ability to review financial information, set and achieve targets, and implement effective plans
