Tatura Veterinary Clinic is located in Tatura, Victoria, within the Goulburn Valley region. Located 20 minutes from Shepparton and 167 kilometres from Melbourne, Tatura is a quaint historical town with deep connections to the history of WWII. Visit the German War Cemetery to learn more about Tatura’s history by exploring artefacts, stories and photographs. Tatura is also home Cussen Park which is a natural wetland environment whereby you will experience an array of wildlife and birdlife. Snowfields are within two hours and the Murray River is only an hour away, so there is plenty of opportunity for a great work-life balance. Tatura Vet Clinic is a mixed veterinary practice of 6 skilled veterinarians, well-supported by friendly and efficient receptionists and nurses. The practice has been established since the 1920s however we have a modern, custom-built clinic with excellent equipment, including ultrasound, in-house lab, digital radiology, IM3 dental and BIONET anaesthetic monitor. Additionally, we have great large-animal facilities with knockdown/recovery padded room, examination/reproduction crush, stables and yards, and toys like BCF cattle ultrasound, mobile digital x-ray and state-of-the-art reproduction equipment.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Full-time Graduate Veterinarian to join our team at Tatura Veterinary Clinic!

  • BVsc or equivalent, and eligibility to gain registration to practice in Victoria.
  • A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
  • Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills

This position offers a negotiable base salary range of $52,000 - $58,000 (pro rata for part-time), dependant on the suitable applicant’s skills and experience. Whilst NVC seeks to source applicants who meet the above criteria and skill set, alternative applicant’s may still be considered. In these cases, the base salary is subject to change to suit.
